when you bring people together with honesty, care, and a deep love for music, something real happens.

Just musicians, creators, listeners, meeting eye to eye.
That first success was about energy, about conversations that lasted longer than the songs.
About collaborations that didn’t need a contract to begin.

In 2026, the journey continues in Cologne, a city shaped by crossings, bridges, and open horizons.
From September 4th to 6th, Cologne becomes a temporary home for indie artists from everywhere:
- songwriters and noise-makers
- solo minds and full bands
- dreamers, builders, and quiet rebels
You come as colleagues.
You leave as friends.
What INDIEpendence Day really is
Not a showcase.
Not a market.
Not a race for attention.
It’s a meeting point.
A few days to:
- share music without pressure
- talk about the realities of being indie

- remember why we started doing this in the first place
