Episode 44: Two Years, One Frequency

When indie love becomes a 24-hour orbit

It’s a celebration.

Two years. Promises made. Promises kept.

What started as a bold leap by Cinco Dave and Lisa has become something much bigger than a radio stream. What began as OTAT247 now grows under a new name: indiemusicfans.com but the soul remains untouched: community first, artists first, love first.

This 44th episode of Le Salon Indie de Mitxoda is not just another show. It’s a birthday candle glowing in the dark of an unpredictable world.

Because yes, the world keeps turning upside down, spinning round and round, sometimes too fast for comfort. We circle through crises, through doubts, through noise. We roll through it all, unable to stop the rotation. And yet somehow, inside this interstellar movement we call the Universe, something steady exists.

A signal.

For nearly 24 hours, DJs from everywhere gathered. Different time zones. Different accents. Same heartbeat. A full orbit of sound. Waves traveling across continents, crossing oceans, bouncing off invisible satellites and landing softly in headphones and speakers.

That is not small.

That is not trivial.

That is indie.

Dave and Lisa are people I’ve never physically met. And yet, they feel like neighbors. Like those familiar lights you see from your window every evening. Reliable. Warm. Present. The kind of presence that makes distance irrelevant.

What they built is more than a platform. It’s a refuge for artists who create without corporate safety nets. It’s a meeting point for dreamers who still believe songs matter. It’s proof that passion, consistency, and generosity can outlive algorithms.

Episode 44 is my small contribution to that constellation.

A reminder that independent music does not exist in isolation. It exists in resonance. In shared risk. In mutual support. In the decision to keep broadcasting even when the world feels unstable.

The Universe may be infinite.

But for indie lovers, it still feels too small.

Vive les artistes.
Love to life.
Love to art.
Love to music.
Peace to all of you.

This was Episode 44 of Le Salon Indie de Mitxoda.

And the signal continues.
