Mitxoda's Take
Thirty years in a drawer, and it still remembers how to ache. The guitar lines crawl up slow and patient, like they knew this day would come, and that chorus finally blooms with the weight of decades behind it.I love how the vocals sound lived-in rather than polished — this is a song that waited for the right years to sound true. Headphones recommended.

About this track
What happens when a song waits decades for its moment? Danish independent artist Peter Fryd originally wrote “Like Rivers Run” in the 1990s and has finally given it the recording he felt it deserved.
Released on 23 October 2026, this melodic rock song brings together heartfelt vocals, melodic guitar work and an emotional chorus. Its reflections on life, time and the journey we all take feel particularly fitting for a song with a journey of its own.
