Please take a moment to read about the correct MP3 tagging before uploading it here.
✅ Upload Your Track , But First, Tag It Right!
In 2025, clean metadata isn’t just nice to have, it’s essential for your music to be searchable, credited, and heard. At a minimum, your track must include the artist name, track title, album name, release year, and ideally the ISRC, genre, and cover artwork.
Correct metadata doesn’t just help you. It saves me hours of manual work and ensures your music can be legally and properly broadcasted across the newsletter and many radio shows.
If your metadata is incomplete, your music might be misfiled, skipped, or rejected by platforms. Take a minute to review the checklist below, your future self (and your listeners) will thank you.
🗂️ MP3 Upload Checklist (2025 Standards)

On computer (recommended):

Once your file is tagged correctly, you can submit it on mitxoda.be/submit. I’m excited to hear your track and maybe feature it in Mitxoda Weekly and on Le Salon Indie de Mitxoda.
