The Salon Indie of Mitxoda – Episode 26 (October 24, 2025)
There are nights when the world feels too calculated, too measured, too optimized, too watched.
And yet here we are, building something that can’t be tracked: a small universe of sound, shared in trust.
A song doesn’t need data to breathe. It just needs someone to listen.
In this 26th Salon, the lights were dim, the tea was warm, and time slowed down.
The air vibrated with that strange harmony between patience and movement, between Mitxoda’s quiet resilience and the echo of voices coming from far away: Pennsylvania, Milan, Paris, Wellington… names and cities dissolving into pure vibration.
We weren’t chasing hits. We were chasing moments, those rare seconds when a melody finds the space between two breaths and stays there.
The world outside may count, compare, monetize. Inside the Salon, we remember what it means to simply feel.
Sometimes I think of the Salon as a house built from frequencies.
Each song adds a new room, a new window, a new corner to sit in.
There’s no hierarchy here, just presence.
The Sun Watts bring the dawn, Liz Arcane stirs the dust of dreams, Tib’O sings like someone walking home at night,
and The Kind Machine reminds us to keep believing even when the sky is cracked.
We live in a noisy world, but the noise isn’t the problem.
It’s the silence between the songs that teaches us something.
Patience, hope, a rhythm that feels almost human.
This is what I try to protect here: a fragile, luminous chaos that still refuses to be optimized.
As the night unfolded, The Kind Machine sent a message on the OTAT247 Discord.
They said they loved Tib’O’s song. Just that.
No algorithm could have predicted that moment, but it felt like the most important data point of all,
proof that we still recognize beauty when we stumble upon it.
And that’s what this Salon has become; a room with open doors,
where unknown names turn into familiar ones,
where sound becomes conversation,
and where we’re reminded, once again,
that connection is louder than competition.
The night ended in light, soft, imperfect, honest light.
A swirl of synths, human voices, positive chaos.
Love, groove, escape, belief.
We left the cushions scattered, the tea cold,
but the air was still alive with something that can’t be streamed or owned,
only shared.
